| Seaman Schepps (1881-1972) was born in NY lower east side. In 1904 his first shops were at Los Angeles, San Francisco and then New York. His jewelry continues to be produced based on his designs labelled "Trianon". Each piece is signed and numbered.
Seaman Schepps/Trianon pieces are collected by such famous people as The Duchess of York, Andy Worhall & Doris Duke.
To celebrate the 100 year anniversary the Museum of Arts & Design in N.Y. will show "A Century of N.Y. Jewelry Design" from Sept./04 to Jan. 15, 2005.
A great 200 page hardcover book was just released also titled "A Centry of N.Y. Jewelry Design" co-authored by his granddaughter.
